FRAMEstagram comics contest with the motif  “Protest”

FRAME Prague Comics Art Festival, in collaboration with the French Institute, is preparing an international Instagram comics competition with the motif “Protest”. The competition will be for authors from the age of 14 and the winner will receive a financial reward of EUR 100,-/CZK 2600,-. For more information, please follow our website and social networks. How to participate?

–  create a comics with the motif “protest” in the form of one or more Instagram posts and share it with the hashtags  #framestagram2021 #frameprague

– comics can be in colors or black and white

– comics can be wordless, in Czech, French or English

FRAME Prague Comics Art Festival, in collaboration with the Institute Francais, organised a comic contest on the theme of “The French Cookbook”. The competition was for children under 12. The winning comics will be placed on the FRAME festival website.

The Art of Hate

The winner of the 3rd Frame annual competition for the short comics up to 10 pages is eponymous comics The Art of Hate by Pam Pam Lin from Taiwan. The second place belongs to Francesca Colombara from Italy and to her comics I hate drawing and the third place goes to Tomi & Sami Pakila from Finland and his comics The Hollow Voyage. The Last Tree

The winner of the competition for the best short comics on the theme The Last Tree is Slovak author Michal Nagy and his short comics of the same name. 2nd place goes to Liisa Kruusmägi from Estonia and 3rd to Yevgeny Busel from Belarus. The winners of a Jury’s Special Award are Alexey Konkov from Russia and Rebecca Jones from the United Kingdom. Congratulations to all who participated.

Wake Up

Here are the winners of the competition for the best short comics on the theme Wake Up from the year 2017. The winner is Czech author Marek Rubec and his comics Refugees. The winners of a Jury’s Special Award are B. Carrot, Fox and Squirrel (Netherlands), Dan Mazur, Face time (USA), Franz Suess, Hannah in Time (Austria), Iveta Merglova, Good Morning (Czech Republic). Congratulation! You can order the full-color anthology with works of 97 authors, over 2 kilos of curated comics, at our shops Centrala and No Ordinary Heroes.
