Margaux Bigou was born in New Caledonia and draws on her island origins as she creates her illustrations. Drawings full of slippery monsters that cannot withstand the heat and hide under shells or in the depths of the sea, Margaux creates a technique combining screen printing and riso printing. She currently lives in Paris, where she is a member of the Riso-sur-Mer collective

MalEdizioni & Iris Biasio

MalEdizioni is a small and independent publishing house based in Brescia, Italy. We are all about underground and experimental comic books since 2011! In this short video we will introduce the work of our artist Iris Biasio and a little presentation of the book La casa dei garofani.

Iris Biasio was born in 1994 in Cittadella in the province of Padua. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in Graphic Art and Engraving Techniques. He is currently studying Comics Languages at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Iris collaborates with the online magazine of graphic journalism STORMI. NeroVite is his self-produced editorial project of comics and illustration.
